‘Mick Jeegger’ was the cry and we were overrun by hundreds of young women from some part of the then still Soviet Union. They had spotted you, Tomasz, crossing the bridge: long hair flying, trousers tight, boots without socks looking like, yes, Mick Jagger. I had been there before; this time I did not even try to correct the misconception.

You signed authographs and posed for photos, loving every minute. I treasure the memory and wait for the ’MICK JAGGER’ as TOM’ authographs to turn up on e-Bay.
